Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger set to loan out Calum Chambers in the summer transfer window to enhance his performance
The England international has fallen out of favour in the club’s first-team in recent times, having failed to nail down a position at either right-back, centre-back or defensive midfield.
Chambers’ versatility may be counting against him at Arsenal, and Wenger now looks set to send him to another Premier League club for next year.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Chambers’ departure could allow the Gunners to bring in a major signing at the back, most likely £20million-rated Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly.
Southampton, Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, Swansea and Watford are said to be the sides eyeing up a potential move for Chambers.
